Crazy Busy

So, I can't imagine that you do much for selling the product you love when you aren't making any.  That would be the place I am in right now.  This past week it has been one thing after another that just made me feel like I was running in several different directions, none of them towards my machine.  I have bags to finish, quilts to finish, baby blankets to finish and have not touched any of them.  The task for the week is to complete the bag that is for Paityn. It will be made with the remainder of her quilt material.  She has had an active part in making this bag and even helped redesign an already existing pattern and came up with something new.  We are so super excited.

ONE EXITING THING!!!!  I now have a design for a smaller bag.  Picture coming soon!!!!

Also, I have been asked by several people if I would be willing to make bags out of material that others already have. This is absolutely something that is doable.  I can certainly get lists of required materials if this something that interests you also. Prices will be based on labor, not supplies.

Etsy...who knew such a place existed.  I was first introduced to this amazing site by someone at work who right away suggested that I post my bags/purses there.  Since then I have had numerous comments about it.  So, today I created an Etsy shop for Sennsational Bags.  If someone is interested in a bag and can tell me about the picture that is on my Etsy shop then they can get $10 off the cost of their bag.

Weekend Fun

So, after much thought and looking a decision has been made on what style my small purse will be. A bit smaller then the scrappy bag, inside pockets with possibility of one or two outside pockets. Interested???? Check back the beginning of next week for a picture!

What, oh what, to do???

Have you ever sat down and just couldn't figure out what to do?  I did that today with my sewing machine?  I have several bags that need to be made and material that is calling my name. Miss Paityn has decided her bag (which will match her quilt) is top priority, but at the same time I am making baby blankets and have a quilt that has nearly all the squares finished and needs some attention.  Like I said, what, oh what, am I to do?  Funny thing is... I think tonight needs to be a night of time with my girl.  So, the dilemma of what to do shall carry over till tomorrow.

(On a side note, tomorrow I will be posting my bags on the "board" at work. Kind of nervous about that, but can't wait!)

Let the fun begin

Crazy!!!  That is what I think about the idea that this site is even going.  I never in my life thought I would be doing something like selling bags that I absolutely love making.  As I begin this new adventure I am so excited to see exactly what the Lord has in store for this.
